Entry-Level Structural Engineer Structural Consulting Services, P.C. seeks an entry level structural engineer with 0 to 3 years U.S. experience. Current projects include mid to low-rise buildings, shoring designs, erection and rigging designs for contractors, telecommunication infrastructure designs, shallow and deep foundation and retaining structure designs. Position will involve field work, drafting and design. The candidate must demonstrate a genuine interest in structural engineering based on past course work and experience and must possess strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
Minimum Qualifications: BSCE degree EIT certification or approval to take FE exam College coursework in structural engineering including structural analysis, steel design, concrete design and foundation engineering Good English speaking, writing and communication skills Familiarity or proficiency with AutoCAD 2000 or higher Summer employment or internships in the design/construction industry a plus
